Israel: We will enter the Gaza Strip

The Chief of the Israeli General Staff, Herzi Halevi, addressed the soldiers of the “Golani Brigade” of the Israeli army.

According to images shared by the Israeli army spokesperson, Halevi said in his speech: “We will enter the Gaza Strip. We will carry out an operational mission to eliminate elements affiliated with Hamas. “We will also take into account the images and scenes of those who lost their lives in the attack that took place two weeks ago on Saturday,” he said.

“BE BRAVE”

“Gaza is complicated, Gaza is overpopulated,” Halevi said, noting that Hamas was making preparations against Israel’s ground operation and said:

“The enemy is making a lot of preparations there, but we are also preparing against them. All the capabilities of the Israeli army accompany us in the ground operation. Be brave with this thought. Be extremely determined and instill a high sense of confidence in your soldiers. This spirit will bring victory.”

“HAMAS IS HURTING ITS OWN CIVILIANS”

In the message shared on X, the Israel Defense Forces stated that they detected 550 “failed rocket launches” by Hamas in Gaza.

“The terrorist organization Hamas is hurting its own civilians by launching rockets at infrastructure and buildings in Gaza,” the statement said.

Tel Aviv also made this claim in the attack on the Al-Ahly Baptist hospital, in which hundreds of people lost their lives. The United States and France also supported the claim that a Hamas rocket hit the hospital.

The Israeli and Palestinian conflicts have continued since October 7. Israel has frequently stated that it will launch a ground operation against the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the conflict. (AA)
