Hamas leader warns of regional war
The head of the Hamas Political Bureau, Ismail Heniyye, assessed the conflicts with Israel and the political developments on the Gaza, West Bank and Lebanon fronts in the video he published.
Recalling that the United States and some European countries visited Israel for moral support, Haniyeh stated that despite all these efforts, the Washington administration failed to “provide regional and international support to Israel in relation to the attacks on Gaza and achieve that the Arabs accept the deportation”.
Noting that despite all the pressure, the attitude of Arab and Islamic countries towards the deportation of Palestinians is very clear, Haniyeh stated that this was also emphasized in the meetings of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). and the Arab League.
Praising the stance of Arab and Islamic countries, especially Egypt, against deportation, Haniyeh called for support for this position.
Haniyeh stated that the US administration has not been successful in eliminating other fronts and convincing the people of Israel’s lies.
The Hamas leader noted that they “warned that if these brutal attacks, destruction and bloodshed against Gaza continue, this could turn into a regional war.”
After meeting with many officials from the Arab and Islamic world in recent days, Haniyeh said that “a solution is only possible with the end of the occupation and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital, and that the occupation commanders “They must be tried for their crimes and must return to Gaza as soon as possible.” He claimed they demanded the aid be delivered.
Finally, Haniyeh called on the Palestinian people and the Arab and Islamic world to take to the streets on Friday with the slogan “Stop the attacks on Gaza, no deportations and an alternative homeland.” (AA)
