Israel attacks a hospital in Gaza: hundreds dead
The Gaza Health Ministry announced that Israel carried out an airstrike against the Al-Ehli Baptist Hospital in the Gaza Strip.

REACTIONS FROM THE WORLD… CANADA: UNACCEPTABLE
The world’s first reaction to the attack came from Canada. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau called Israel’s attack “appalling and unacceptable.”
Egypt also said it condemned in the strongest terms the attack, which left hundreds of Palestinians dead, and called on the international community to intervene to prevent “Israel’s policies of collective punishment.”
Qatar and Jordan also made statements condemning the attack.
UN-EU DECLARATION
The United Nations strongly condemned the attack on al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza and called for an end to attacks on civilians and health facilities.
The president of the Council of the European Union (EU), Charles Michel, also said: “There are too many deaths. “This shows the dramatic situation experienced by the people who live there,” he said.
The World Health Organization (WHO) also said it strongly condemned the attack.
