Israel took 4,000 workers hostage
Israel detained workers who entered the country a week before the attack, including Gazans who did not have work permits.
Gaza workers are being questioned about whether they were aware of the attacks launched by Hamas’s armed wing, the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, on the morning of October 7, and whether they cooperated in planning the attack.
On the other hand, the news published on Israeli state television KAN stated that 118 armed people from the Gaza Strip were being held in prisons.
The Israeli military announced that it detained dozens of Palestinians who took part in attacks on settlements around the Gaza Strip on October 7.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Labor in Gaza, there are approximately 18,500 Palestinians with work permits in Israel.
ISRAEL-HAMAS CONFLICT
Hamas’s armed wing, the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, launched a comprehensive attack against Israel on the morning of October 7, called the “Aqsa Flood.”
As thousands of rockets were fired from Gaza into Israel, Palestinian armed groups attacked and seized the Beit Hanun-Erez border gate on the Gaza-Israel border.
Armed groups then entered settlements inside Israel from here and the Israeli army launched an attack on the Gaza Strip with dozens of fighter jets.
It was reported that 1,400 Israelis, including 299 soldiers, were killed and 3,968 Israelis were wounded in the attacks carried out from Gaza.
The Palestinian Health Ministry announced that 2,778 people were killed and more than 10,000 injured in Gaza in Israel’s attacks.
It was claimed that 61 Palestinians were killed and approximately 1,250 people were injured in attacks by Israeli forces and Jewish settlers in the occupied West Bank.
13 journalists also lost their lives in Israeli attacks.
In the clashes that have broken out between Hezbollah and the Israeli army on the Israeli border in southern Lebanon since October 8, 3 civilians, 4 Hezbollah militiamen and 2 members of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement have died so far.
Three Israeli soldiers lost their lives in the attacks carried out by Lebanon.
