France: We provide intelligence support to Israel
French Defense Minister Sebastien Lecornu stated that they provided intelligence support to Israel within the framework of the traditional partnership between the two countries.
Lecornu made statements about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in his statement to the newspaper Le Progres. “Does France provide military support to Israel?” On the issue, Lecornu stated that “her country primarily provides intelligence support to Israel.”
Noting that they provided this intelligence to the Tel Aviv administration within the framework of the traditional partnership between the two countries, Lecornu stated that they have long experience in the fight against terrorism. Underlining that France will continue to adopt a stance in favor of a two-state solution on the Palestinian-Israeli issue, Lecornu highlighted the difficulty of the situation in the Gaza Strip. (AA)
