Attack on Palestinian family in US: 6-year-old boy stabbed to death multiple times

In the US state of Chicago, a person attacked a Palestinian family with a knife, killing a 6-year-old boy and injuring his mother.

The Will County Sheriff’s Office statement said Joseph M. Czuba, 71, organized the attack because of “the Muslim identity of the boy and his mother and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.” Police officers said when they arrived at the scene they found Czuba sitting in front of the house.

It was recorded that the police who entered the house later found the 32-year-old woman and her 6-year-old son with serious stab wounds.
It was announced that the child, who received 26 stab wounds, was in critical condition, died after being transferred to a local hospital, and his mother, who was hospitalized, was in serious condition.

Authorities reported that “it was determined that Czuba, who made no statements about the attack, killed the boy because he was Muslim, under the influence of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.” Czuba is charged with first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, two hate crimes and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

US President Joe Biden said he was shocked by the news of the murder of a 6-year-old Muslim boy and the injury of his mother.

Biden made a written statement regarding the murder of a child in Illinois, USA, due to his Muslim identity. Noting that the boy’s family came to the United States in search of the living space that everyone seeks, to learn and worship in peace, Biden said: “This kind of terrible hatred has no place in America. “It goes against our core values,” she emphasized.

Biden stressed that Americans must unite and oppose Islamophobia and all forms of hate. Stating that everyone in the White House expressed their condolences to the family of the slain 6-year-old boy and wished his injured mother a speedy recovery, Biden extended his condolences to the entire Palestinian, Arab and Muslim American community.
