According to the news from the Jerusalem Press newspaper, in the written statement made by Hamas, it was noted that the chairman of the Hamas Political Bureau, Haniyeh, met with the Iranian Foreign Minister, Abdullahiyan, and his accompanying delegation, who visited the country in Doha, the capital of Qatar.
During the meeting, where the events in the blockaded Gaza, where Israel carries out intense attacks, were discussed, an agreement was reached to continue cooperation so that the resistance and the Palestinian people can fully realize their objectives.
Haniyeh discussed “Israel’s violations against Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa, especially the massacres, assassinations and settlement policies in the West Bank, and the attempts to divide and Judaize the Masjid al-Aqsa” that led to the flooding of Al-Aqsa.
Briefing the Iranian delegation about the 16-year blockade and the difficulties experienced by the Palestinians, Haniyeh said that “after this war, a new page of history will be opened at the level of the Palestinian cause and resistance.” . , which will never be the same as before.”
Haniyeh affirmed that the international community, the Islamic world and Arab countries must assume responsibility for what happened in Gaza.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abdullahiyan also briefed Haniyeh and the Hamas delegation accompanying him about his meetings with regional and international officials within the framework of the cessation of attacks on Gaza and their results.
Abdullahian also emphasized Tehran’s clear stance of supporting the Palestinian cause, the Palestinian people, their resistance and determination.
