Syria and Iran challenged Israel
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Emir Abdullahian said leaders of the region’s resistance groups, including Lebanese Hezbollah, informed him that they were prepared for all scenarios against Israel.
According to Iranian state television, Abdullahian met with Syrian President Bashar Assad and Foreign Minister Faisal Mikdad in Damascus, where he went as part of his regional tour that covered Iraq, Lebanon and Syria. Abdullahiyan spoke at the press conference held after his meeting with his Syrian counterpart Mikdad.
Abdullahiyan claimed that Israel and the countries that support it started a massacre against the Palestinians when the flow of water, electricity, food and medicine to Gaza was cut off, and said: “From here, I call on Islamic countries and international institutions to ” He urgently calls on the oppressed and civilian people of Gaza to lift the siege and put an end to the war crimes of the Zionists. “I want to convey the message that international support is needed,” he said.
Stating that he met with Hezbollah’s Lebanese Secretary General Hasan Nasrallah, as well as senior officials of the Palestinian resistance groups Hamas and Islamic Jihad, as part of his contacts in Lebanon, Abdullahiyan said: “I received information that the resistance front is ready for everyone. possible scenarios and their morale is high.”
Separately, the semi-official Tasnim news agency announced that Iranian Foreign Minister Abdullahian traveled by land from Lebanon to Syria yesterday after Israel bombed the airports in Damascus and Aleppo the previous day. (AA)
