Shocking US claim: North Korea sent military equipment to Russia
US White House National Security Council Strategic Communications Coordinator John Kirby responded to reporters’ questions at the online press conference.
Kirby claimed that North Korea supplied weapons to Russia for use in Ukraine and said: “The information we have shows that North Korea has provided more than 1,000 containers of military equipment and ammunition to Russia in recent weeks.” he said.
Kirby said they condemn North Korea for providing military hardware to Russia and will continue to closely monitor this matter.

Kirby stated that they believe North Korea has requested military assistance from Russia, including fighter jets, missiles, armored vehicles and production equipment for ballistic missiles and other advanced technologies, in exchange for this support.
Noting that they are monitoring whether Moscow will deliver these materials to Pyongyang, Kirby assessed that there were Russian ships unloading containers in North Korea and therefore the first delivery of material from Russia may have occurred.
The White House shared satellite images of the shipment that North Korea claimed to have sent to Russia.
According to images shared by the Joe Biden administration, the alleged shipments left North Korea in September and arrived in the Russian city of Tikhoretsk in October. (AA)
