Spain will increase aid to Palestine

Spanish Foreign Minister Albares announced that Spain has approved another humanitarian aid package of €1 million, which is in addition to the €8 million budget allocated to support Palestine this year.

Minister Albares objected to claims by the Deputy Mayor of Jerusalem, Fleur Hassan-Nahoum, that the aid sent by Spain and the European Union (EU) does not contribute to peace and security in the region, stating that this issue was examined exhaustively at EU level. and that all member states must ensure that the money reaches the desired place. She said that she agreed that she was gone.

“I would never allow a single cent from Spain or the EU to go anywhere other than helping the Palestinian people,” Albares said. saying.

Condemning Hamas attacks against Israel, Albares called on Israel “not to attack civilians and to comply with international law.”

ISRAEL-HAMAS CONFLICT

Hamas’s armed wing, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, launched a comprehensive attack against Israel on the morning of October 7, called the “Aqsa Flood.”

As thousands of rockets were fired from Gaza into Israel, Palestinian armed groups attacked and seized the Beit Hanun-Erez border gate on the Gaza-Israel border.

Armed groups then entered settlements inside Israel from here and the Israeli army launched an attack on the Gaza Strip with dozens of fighter jets.

The Palestinian Health Ministry announced that 1,100 people were killed and 5,339 injured in Gaza in Israel’s attacks.
