Shocking statement from Der Spiegel: Germany will help Israel
In the Spiegel news, it was stated that the German Air Force will deliver to Israel 2 Heron-type unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) used for training German pilots.
The news said that Israel asked if it could use the two unmanned aerial vehicles in ongoing attacks and that the German government gave the green light to this.
It was reported that Israel suspended the training of German pilots due to the conflict situation in the region, and 16 pilots who were trained will return to Germany.
It was highlighted that unmanned aerial vehicles can observe and track targets for up to 24 hours with their high-resolution cameras and, if converted into UCAVs, can destroy vehicles or smaller positions with precision missiles.
The news also stated that Israel requested help for medical supplies. (AA)
