Terrifying fire at airport: flights canceled

It was announced that a fire broke out in the car park at Luton Airport in London last night, and the fire grew rapidly and caused a collapse in the car park.

Airport officials announced that flights were suspended until 3:00 p.m. local time this afternoon. Firefighters stressed that when they arrived at the scene last night they found a rapidly growing fire and stated that approximately 1,200 vehicles were damaged in the blaze.

Firefighters emphasized that they fought the fire throughout the night, saying: “Currently, four crews and one plane are on scene and the crews are working alongside airport firefighters. All flights have been stopped. “If you have a flight that leaves before 3:00 p.m., please do not travel to the airport,” he warned. (DHA)
