Young Israeli declared heroine: dozens of Hamas militants killed
Inbar Lieberman, 25, who lives in Nir Am, a community life established in an area near the border between Israel and Gaza, was declared a hero after the Hamas attack…
Lieberman, 25, who works as a “security coordinator” in Nir Am, a gated communal living community about 2.5 kilometers from the Gaza Strip, took action after learning of the attack.
Hearing the sounds of gunshots and explosions near Nir Am, which is very close to the border, and realizing that these sounds were different from the previous and approaching missiles, Lieberman organized his neighbors. While preparing the village for a possible conflict, Lieberman distributed weapons to his 12 neighbors and set traps at some points.
After some time, the conflict began when Hamas militants approached the village. In the clashes that lasted approximately 4 hours, Lieberman killed 5 Hamas militants, while in total more than 25 Hamas militants were neutralized.
The young woman was declared a heroine.
It was claimed that the young woman, who was highly praised for anticipating the severity of the attack and making preparations, saved the village in this way. The woman, who has worked in this position since December 2022, also avoided a major civil death.
Gruesome images came from similar villages near Nir Am… While many civilians lost their lives in many villages, Israeli media announced that Lieberman should receive a “medal for heroism.”
Israeli media shared the following statements: “Hamas militants tried to enter many villages, but they were blocked and could not enter here.”
