CALL TO PILOTS ‘DO NOT FLY TO ISRAEL’
The union representing American Airlines pilots asked its members not to agree to fly to Israel due to “unrest in the region.” In his email to union members, union president Ed Sicher emphasized that the company’s pilots should not fly to Israel until the region’s security is guaranteed.
The US State Department reminded its citizens of flight cancellations in the region and recommended its citizens who want to leave the country reconsider their flights.
