Passenger bus fell from the bridge: 21 people died, some are missing
A passenger bus traveling from the northeastern Italian city of Mestre to Marghera left the road and crashed while passing over a bridge on the A4 motorway for unknown reasons.

The bus was reported to have crashed into the train track passing under the bridge, which is approximately 15 meters high, and then caught fire due to the impact.
According to the statement from the Government of Venice, according to the first conclusions, 21 people died and 12 were injured in the accident. It was stated that 4 or 5 people were missing.
UKRAINIAN PASSPORTS FOUND
Venice Mayor Luigi Brugnaro said most of the dead were foreign citizens and that Ukrainian passports were found at the scene.
Following the incident, Italian President Sergio Mattarella reportedly called Venice Mayor Brugnaro and received information about the accident.
Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni also shared a message of condolence, saying: “Our thoughts are with those who lost their lives and their families. “I am in close contact with Mayor Brugnaro and our Minister Piantedosi to follow the evolution of this tragedy,” she said. (AA)
