A fire broke out at police headquarters: at least 25 people were injured
A fire broke out at the police department in Ismailia, northeastern Egypt.
Egyptian media reports stated that a fire broke out in the Ismailia city police department at night for unknown reasons and that some parts of the building were destroyed.
In the news based on security sources, it was indicated that there were police officers on duty inside at the time of the fire and that there was still no information about the loss of life, but there were injured people.
The British news agency Reuters, reporting on the actions of the teams in the region and local media, highlighted that at least 25 people were injured. The fire in the Suez Canal area generated panic.
Two witnesses who spoke to Reuters announced that firefighters and rescue teams worked for 3 hours to extinguish the flames.
