The United States lifts visas for Israeli citizens
The US State Department announced that it will allow Israeli citizens to enter the United States visa-free for 90 days.
The ministry’s statement stated that this decision will strengthen economic and humanitarian ties between Israel and the United States.
The statement reported that Israeli citizens can enter the United States without a visa for tourism and business trips by registering in the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA).
It was announced that after Israel’s travel policies are updated, US citizens will be able to enter Israel without a visa for the same purposes, and it was noted that this will also be true for US citizens in Palestine.
Israel became the 41st country included in the US Visa Waiver Program.

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry asked the US administration to exempt Palestinians from visas to enter the country, as well as Israelis.
