An illegal Turkish family receives 1,500 euros a month
While the number of Turks entering Germany illegally increases day by day, more illegal refugees are expected in October.
In light of the latest events, major debates began in Germany and finally Prime Minister Olaf Scholz intervened and said that the fugitives should be granted asylum in Poland, where they came from, and that they should not be sent to Germany.
As tensions between Germany and Poland rise, aid that encourages illegal entry is also being discussed.
HOW MUCH DOES A TURKISH ASYLUM SEEKER RECEIVE?
Germany is the country that provides the largest monthly monetary aid in the EU.
Illegal refugees who enter Germany alone are taken to a reception center and do not pay rent. He receives an allowance for bed and clothing and a monthly salary of 410 euros.
The illegal Turk, who is registered in the first reception center, subsequently finds work in a döner restaurant or in construction and earns a net income of between 1,500 and 2,000 euros per month. Thus, the monthly income of illegal Turkish immigrants reaches 2,000 euros.
MONTHLY INCOME OF AN ILLEGAL TURKISH COUPLE
If it is a Turkish couple who arrives illegally and requests asylum, a total of 779 euros will be given to both of them. Therefore, the spouse’s monthly salary is 369 euros. Likewise, housing and clothing are free. After registration, they both go to another location within the country and start working illegally, and their monthly income in euros exceeds 3,000 euros.
Pension for MARRIED FAMILY WITH TWO CHILDREN
If an illegal Turkish family, married and with two children, comes to Germany as a family and applies for asylum, the monthly aid paid to them amounts to 1,471 euros.
Of course, what they receive in exchange for their illegal work remains completely tax-free.
AS THE NUMBER OF CHILDREN INCREASES, SO DOES HELP INCREASE
As the number of children in the family increases, the amount of support also increases. On average, 300 euros more aid is provided per child. For this reason, young immigrants who arrive try to have children immediately or take with them their children who remain in Turkey.
HOW MUCH DOES THE UNEMPLOYED GERMAN RECEIVE?
While illegal immigrants are paid this amount, a German unemployed in the country or a Turk who has spent 50 years in Germany receives almost the same help.
Therefore, those who arrive illegally are in a much more advantageous situation. Unemployed people living in Germany earn 502 euros per person per month. His wife receives 451 euros and 402 euros per child.
PROPOSAL FOR AID IN KIND INSTEAD OF MONEY
Claiming that these figures encourage people who are unemployed or looking for easy income to flee to Germany, the parties and the police union recommend cutting aid and providing aid in kind (food, drinks, notebooks and books).
The Police Union also agrees. Reducing the aid amounts is not possible because the Constitutional Court previously rejected it. However, there is no legal obstacle to receiving in-kind aid again.
