Surprising results emerged in the Biden-Trump poll
The survey conducted by ABC/Washington Post revealed the results of the hypothetical comparison between Biden and Trump for the 2024 presidential elections.
MADE A DIFFERENCE OF 9 POINTS
In the survey, 51 percent of participants supported Trump, while Biden received 42 percent support, 9 points behind his predecessor.
In a similar poll conducted by ABC/Washington Post in February, support for Trump was recorded at 48 percent and support for Biden at 45 percent.
SUPPORT FOR MIGRANT POLICY IS LOW
In the survey in question, public support for Biden’s economic and immigration policies was also low.
Only 37 percent of respondents approved of Biden’s job performance, while 56 percent gave the president a negative rating. 44 percent of adults surveyed said they had become worse off financially during the Biden administration.
While the rate of those who approve of Biden’s policies on immigration is 23 percent, the rate of those who think they are too old for a new position after the 2024 presidential election was determined at 74 percent.
In the survey, 48 percent of respondents gave positive ratings to Trump’s job performance while in office compared to Biden, while 49 percent gave negative ratings.
THE DON’T LIKE RATE WAS 60 PERCENT
In polls taken when Trump left the White House, public support was at 38 percent, and the rate of those who did not like his job performance was around 60 percent.
1,006 adults participated in the survey, which was randomly selected by telephone nationwide and conducted in English and Spanish between September 15 and 20. (AA)
