Azerbaijan announced the weapons it confiscated

The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan announced the list of military equipment, weapons and ammunition seized following the anti-terrorist operation carried out against the illegal Armenian forces in Karabakh.

In the Ministry’s statement, the following information was shared about the list of seized military equipment, weapons and ammunition:

“4 tanks, 1 armored infantry vehicle, 3 Zastava-mounted armored vehicles, 2 guns, 12 howitzers, 12 mortars, 468 mines, 956 mortar carriers, 441 mortar shells, 22 grenade launchers, 46 grenades, 313 weapons fire, 66,242 bullets, 50 missiles, 300 detonators, 62 hand grenades, 3 bassoon anti-tank guns, 28 anti-aircraft guns, 1 ammunition supply vehicle, 1 TOR M2 anti-aircraft gun.

“TRANSFORMED INTO A POWDERED KARGE”

Advisor to the President of Azerbaijan, Hikmet Hacıyev, shared the following on his X account:

“The first three days of the disarmament process revealed that during the years of occupation, the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan became the most militarized region and a tinderbox in the world in terms of the number of military warehouses and accumulated weapons and ammunition. We did not expect the region to be so militarized based on its population and area. “Disarmament and disarmament are essential components of reintegration.” (AA)
