Azerbaijan announced: Here is the latest situation in the Karabakh crisis…
A briefing was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan for diplomatic representatives accredited to the country with the participation of presidential advisor Hikmet Hajiyev, the representative of special functions of the president of Azerbaijan, Elchin Emirbeyov, and the deputy minister of Foreign Affairs, Fariz Rzayev. .
Hajiyev told the meeting that the Azerbaijani state has prepared a comprehensive social and integration plan for the Armenian population in Karabakh. Recalling that the Azerbaijani state had previously sent invitations to the so-called Karabakh regime to discuss integration issues, but these invitations were rejected, Hacıyev said: “Azerbaijan’s agenda is to ensure the peaceful integration of Armenians in Karabakh. “We want to bring peace to the region.” saying.
“Civilian structures were not attacked in any way”
Hacıyev emphasized that they have always claimed that the armed forces in Karabakh, numbering up to 10,000 people, pose a threat to the peace of the region and said: “Yesterday, our civilian citizens and police officers lost their lives in a mine explosion. This forced us to implement local anti-terrorist measures. Civilian structures were not attacked in any way. No shots were fired at civilians. Azerbaijan has received assurances that illegal groups in Karabakh will lay down their arms. “Azerbaijan will provide them with a safe exit.” he said.
Explaining that a meeting will be held tomorrow in the city of Yevlah between representatives of the Armenian population in Karabakh and Azerbaijani state officials, Hacıyev said: “Azerbaijan once again declares that it is ready for a smooth reintegration process. We are willing to satisfy the humanitarian demands of the people. “We are prepared to guarantee stability and security in the region in a short time.” he said.
Hajiyev claimed that tomorrow’s United Nations (UN) Security Council meeting with the Karabakh agenda could damage the fragile situation in the region, saying: “There was no need for such a meeting. “Azerbaijan can explain the reasons for the operation at any time.” saying.
“AZERBAIJAN IS IN FAVOR OF THE SOLUTION OF REGIONAL PROBLEMS AT THE REGIONAL LEVEL”
After the briefing, Hacıyev made a statement to the press about normalizing relations with Armenia and said: “Azerbaijan is in favor of resolving regional problems at the regional level. In this regard, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan suggested the format of Turkey, Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia. In this format, we can solve regional problems. Azerbaijan also supports the 3+3 format. But unfortunately, Armenia is trying to resolve regional problems with powers outside the region. This is not beneficial for our region. “Some countries want to export their geopolitical and internal problems to our region.” he said. (AA)
