Kennedy, US presidential candidate, claims he has “cheated”
Robert F. Kennedy Jr., nephew of former US President John F. Kennedy and Democratic Party candidate for the 2024 presidential election, argued that the Democratic National Committee (DNC), the influential superstructure for determining candidates within the party, manipulated the primary elections.
In his post on his social media account, Kennedy Jr. criticized the Democratic National Committee for changing the rules.
“The Democratic National Committee is effectively depriving voters of their right to have other choices within the Democratic Party or who the nominee will be,” Kennedy Jr. said, suggesting it did so by setting new rules.
“THE DELEGATES I WON WILL GO TO BIDDING”
Kennedy Jr. said: “Votes received by a presidential candidate who participated in the primaries in Iowa and New Hampshire will not be counted in the following states. “So the delegates that I won in these two states will go to President Joe Biden,” he said.
“I NEED TO GET 80 PERCENT OF THE VOTES”
Taking into account the ‘superdelegates’ within the Democratic National Committee who automatically support Biden, Kennedy Jr. said: “Under this situation, it is necessary to obtain 80 percent of the votes in all states in order to defeat Biden, who “You have to earn only 20 percent.”
“THERE IS NO REAL DEMOCRACY”
Kennedy Jr. noted that many Americans believed democracy was corrupted during this period in history, saying, “The political system is fraudulent, there really is no democracy, and unfortunately the Democratic National Committee is taking steps to confirm that.” (AA)
