Migrants surrender to police after fire in Greece
Irregular Syrian migrants crossing into Greece were hiding in the Dadia forest area, but could not find food or drink due to the fire.

A herdsman and an irregular migrant died in Kavacık (Lefkimi), in the Evros region, on August 21 in Viotia, Greece.
The bodies of 18 people, including 2 children, were found in the Dadia forest area on August 22, presumably belonging to irregular migrants trying to cross the Evros river into Greece.
