Chaos at the world famous festival: there is a death

Thousands of people trapped by heavy rain at the Burning Man festival: one dead

Thousands of people were stranded and one person died due to heavy rains in the area where the Burning Man music festival is held, which is held every year in the US state of Nevada.

Heavy rains turned the floor of the Black Rock Desert, where the festival was held, into a puddle of mud, stranding thousands of people.

Those responsible for the organization, in their statement, indicated that all the roads in and out of the city of Black Road are closed and no flights are carried out, and they advised the participants to remain where they are, keep food, water and gasoline, and stay in warm places.

Authorities took action after one person was killed at the Burning Man festival.

Videos on social media show that people are stuck in mud, vehicles are difficult to move and the event area has turned into a lake of mud. The entrance and exit roads to the event were closed due to the vehicles making the terrain worse.

The statement issued by the Washoe Sheriff’s Office warned that all roads leading to the event area are closed and those heading in that direction will be turned away.

More rain is expected, the officials said, adding that it could take a few days for the ground to dry out enough for people to leave.

INVESTIGATION INITIATED AFTER DEATH

“We came here knowing that there is a place where we bring everything we need to survive. Therefore, we should all be prepared for such a weather event.” statements were included.

On the other hand, the authorities announced that the family of a person who lost his life during the rains was informed and an investigation was launched into the incident.

It was reported that the toilets in the festival area could not be emptied and therefore not usable because the shuttle vehicles could not move through the mud.

In the framework of the nine-day festival, which is attended by more than 70,000 people each year, visitors satisfy all their needs in the temporary city established in the middle of the desert. (AA)
