Putin said “invincible”… Nuclear missiles were put in war position

As the war in Ukraine raged on in all its violence, Russia brought Sarmat nuclear missiles, which President Vladimir Putin described as “invincible,” into a state of war.

Yuri Borisov, head of the Russian space agency Roscosmos, announced that the international ballistic missiles known as “Satan II” (Satan II) have been activated. Borisov did not comment on the location of the missiles when he said that “the Sarmat strategic system has entered a combat position.”

Described as “the world’s deadliest missile”, the Devil II is claimed to be the world’s longest-range ICBM, capable of hitting a target at a range of 18,000 kilometers.

‘YOU CAN GET TO LONDON IN A FEW MINUTES’

The missiles, which weigh about 208 tons, were first tested in 2017. Russian leader Putin had previously described the weapon as “invincible.” The original Soviet-era Devil missile has been in service since the 1970s, while the ‘Devil II’ is said to have been in development since the early 2000s.

The news that the missile could reach Europe and even the United States in a matter of minutes had already been on the agenda before. Putin also said that with this missile Russia’s enemies will have to think twice.

Russian officials claim that the Sarmat missile can carry 15 nuclear warheads. The US military’s nuclear missiles are estimated to have a capacity of 10 warheads.
