Clashes Intensify Between PKK/YPG And Arabs In Syria
In the area occupied by the PKK/YPG terrorist organization in Deir ez-Zor province in eastern Syria, conflicts between the organization and Arab tribes are increasing with the involvement of other Arab tribes in the region.
According to information received from local sources, clashes between the terrorist organization and the Arabs broke out on August 27, after the terrorists detained the so-called commander of the group Ahmed al-Habil after the long tension between the PKK/YPG and the so – called the Deir ez-Zor Military Council group under their control.
The Beggara, Buşaban, Tay, Bukeyyir and al-Cubur tribes also supported al-Akidat, one of the largest tribes in the region, which led the clashes against the terrorist organization. People from the villages of Suveydan, Curzi, Ebu Hardob, Bahra, Şife, Şennan, Havayic, Ziban, Şuheyl, İzbe and Tayyane in the southeastern and eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, where the tribes exist, took action against the PKK . YPG.
The Arab tribes attacked the headquarters of the so-called PKK/YPG in the villages in question and expelled the members of the terrorist organization from the region. Although it was stated that there were deaths and injuries within the ranks of the organization in the clashes in the aforementioned towns, dozens of terrorists were captured.
CIVILIANS DETECTED
As the PKK/YPG terrorists were driven out of the village of Izbe, they rounded up dozens of civilians and looted the houses and shops in the village.
Akidat tribe leader Ibrahim al-Hafil called on all Arab tribes in the region to fight against the PKK/YPG in the audio recording shared on social media and called on the organization to release the civilians detained for the organization. Hafil demanded the creation of a military council that represents the Arab tribes of the region and that is not under the control of the PKK/YPG, and that the direct recipient of this structure be the United States.
The so-called military council, which operates under the leadership of the YPG/PKK with US financial and military support, has been in trouble for some time with the idea that the Sanadid Forces will be replaced or lose their dominance. over the field. That is why the so-called parliament opposes the Sanadid Forces sending armed elements to the regions east of the Euphrates River.
On July 25, 2023, clashes broke out between armed Arabs from the “military assembly” and the so-called PKK/YPG-affiliated military police.
The Deir ez-Zor “military council” is made up of Arabs from the Akidat, Buseraya and Bekkara tribes on the east side of the Euphrates River in Deir ez-Zor province. The Sanadid Forces are Arabs from the Shummar tribe in Haseki province.
The Deir ez-Zor Military Council is said to have approximately 4,000 armed elements, while the Sanadid Forces have between 2,000 and 3,000 armed elements. (AA)
