The map of China caused a crisis: countries collided

Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines have reacted to China’s new map, arguing that it claims disputed territories.

On the map released by China’s Ministry of Natural Resources on Aug. 28, the South China Sea includes disputed territories claimed by Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippines and Brunei, as well as part of India’s territory.

According to The Star news agency, Malaysian Foreign Minister Zambry Abdul Kadir announced that a protest note will be sent to China over the South China Sea and Malaysia’s claims to the maritime zones of Sabah states. and Sarawak.

According to news from BBC Indonesia, the spokesman for the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Teuku Faizasyah, stated that they are in contact with China and that they will discuss the issue through the Indonesian Embassy in Beijing.

The map released by China caused a huge reaction.

According to the CNN report, the Philippine Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the map in question as “China’s effort to legitimize its jurisdiction and sovereignty over Philippine maritime areas.”

INDIA AND TAIWAN REACTED

India had protested against China, which showed its territory to the disputed border region of Arunachal Pradesh.

The Chinese government, on the other hand, described the map as a “routine exercise” and wanted India to avoid “overinterpretation.”

Taiwanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman Jeff Liu used the phrase “The PRC never ruled Taiwan” regarding the map. (AA)
