Tropical storm Idalia dies

It was reported that 2 people died due to Tropical Storm Idalia, which caused heavy rains and flooding in the US state of Florida.

Idalia, which arrived in the state of Florida yesterday morning, reduced its intensity from a hurricane to a tropical storm. Florida Highway Police stated that 2 people were killed when their vehicles spun out of control during heavy rain during the tropical storm.

Minor injuries were reported in the car that rolled over due to short-lived tornadoes caused by Tropical Storm Idalia, which came ashore from Keaton Beach in Florida. The storm, whose speed decreased from 300 kilometers per hour to 96 kilometers per hour, advanced towards the states of Georgia and Carolina of the South.

The tropical storm is expected to return from land to the Atlantic Ocean over the weekend.

Idalia, which showed its effect in the state with category 3 severity since yesterday morning, caused power outages that affected half a million people, flooding the streets, reaching wavelengths of 3 meters due to continuous winds and cancellations of flights. (AA)
