Visit of the US commander to the region occupied by the PKK/YPG

The commander of the US Central Command, General Michael Erik Kurilla, visited the Hol and Roj camps in Syria, where the PKK/YPG terrorist organization is holding the families of ISIS terrorists.

In a written statement by the US Central Command (CENTCOM), it was claimed that Kurilla visited Syria on August 21 and visited the two aforementioned camps. The statement stated that Kurilla met with the so-called administrators of the Hol and Roj camps and with the people held there, and that the CENTCOM commander supervised “the humanitarian situation, the efforts to increase the security of the camps and the rehabilitation processes” there.

In the statement it was noted that Kurilla stated that they are working to repatriate those who are in the camps to their own countries and that in this way the security problems in the region will be reduced.

CENTCOM shared photos of Kurilla’s visit.

TERRORIST ORGANIZATION MEETS LEADERS

In the statement, the CENTCOM commander emphasized cooperation with the PKK/YPG terrorist organization, which uses the name SDG in Syria, and it was reported that Kurilla also met with the heads of the PKK/YPG terrorist organization.

The PKK/YPG detains civilians fleeing clashes with the families of members of the DEASH terrorist organization in Deir ez-Zor, in Hol and Roj camps, in Hasaka province. Tens of thousands of people, most of them civilians, detained by the organization are housed in subhuman conditions in the camps.

The UN and non-governmental organizations warn that in the Hol camp, with a capacity for 10,000 people, there are several times more people being held and that the humanitarian situation is worsening. (AA)
