Sandstorm hospitalized dozens of people

Hundreds of people affected by the sandstorm were claimed to have been hospitalized in Sistan-Baluchestan province in southeastern Iran.

According to the Tesnim news agency, Sistan-Baluchestan emergency chief Majid Muhibbi gave information on the matter. Muhibbi said: “In 120 days, 488 people went to hospitals in the cities of Zabul, Zehek, Hamun, Hirmend and Nimruz, located in northern Sistan-Baluchistan. 64 of them were hospital treatment”. saying.

Expressing that the sandstorm in the region is expected to last for a week, the Iranian official recommended that people, especially patients, children and the elderly, not go out unless necessary and wear masks.

The range of visibility is claimed to have decreased to 300 meters at Zehek and 700 meters at Zabul. (AA)
