Dispersed royal family: Princess of Monaco ran away from home, go by date
European media wrote that Monaco’s royal family was dissolved… German and French media announced that Princess Charlene of Monaco and Prince Albert had separated their homes. Sources who spoke to the newspaper announced that Charlene has been living in Switzerland for a while.
It was also reported that the couple only appeared together at the ceremonies with a “date”.
Charlene, 45, and Albert, 65, spent this summer on a luxury yacht vacation with their children, Jacques and Gabrielle. However, it was claimed that Charlene, who did not return to the Monaco palace after the holidays, continued to live abroad.
The couple had been having problems for a long time.
A source close to the couple spoke to French newspaper Voici. She said the son of former Olympic swimmer Charlene and Grace Kelly is a “ceremonial couple”. Sources claimed that Charlene only came to Monaco for official invitations and ceremonies, and that Charlene was allowed to see her children more frequently.
On the other hand, sources who spoke to Bild, one of Germany’s most widely read newspapers, said: “Albert and Charlene are now good partners and take turns looking after their children.”
The royal family, whose relations have been turbulent since their marriage, left Monaco for a month-long vacation in South Africa and did not return for 10 months. Charlene was not seen in Monaco from January 2021 to March 2022.
