Children stranded at 300 meters high, army on alert

The children, who took the cable car to go to school in Pakistan, were suspended in the air at a height of about 300 meters, propelling the army.

Children from the Battagram mountain region were in grave danger this morning as they used the locally operated cable car to go to school every morning. 8 people, including 6 children, were suspended at a height of about 300 meters due to the failure of the cable car.

While no progress could be made in the hours-long rescue efforts, Pakistan’s National Disaster Administration said in a statement: “People are trapped 274 meters up.”

While the fault in the cable car could not be repaired, it was announced that an army helicopter was sent to the region.

Due to the lack of roads and bridges in the mountain-ringed region, people generally travel by cable cars.
