Attacks on Moscow created panic, flights stopped

The head of the Moscow region announced that at least two people were injured when a Ukrainian drone (UAV) hit by Russian air defense fell on a house in the region.

After Russia announced that it had shot down other Ukrainian UAVs in the Ruzsky region west of Moscow and in Istrinsky, which is also nearby, some 50 flights in and out of the capital were grounded. Russia’s aviation agency Rosavatsia announced that arrivals and departures from Moscow’s four main airports – Vnukovo, Domodedovo, Sheremetyevo and Zhukovsky – were restricted and 45 passenger and two cargo planes were disrupted within the scope of the restriction. .

Russian authorities have repeatedly warned that military drones flying over Moscow, which has a population of about 22 million, if the surrounding region is taken into account, could cause a major disaster. (Reuters)
