Russian President Vladimir Putin visited the military headquarters in Rostov-on-Don, near the Ukrainian border, and received a briefing from Russian commanders.

According to the Kremlin statement, Putin visited the military headquarters of the military group responsible for the “special military operation” in Ukraine in the city of Rostov-on-Don. While Putin received information from some Russian commanders, Russian Chief of Staff Valeriy Gerasimov also briefed Putin.

About 100 kilometers from the Ukrainian border, Rostov-on-Don is home to the Russian army headquarters of the Southern Military District involved in the war.

In the statement, it was stated that the Ukrainian missile was detected in time and blocked in the air by Russian air defense systems, and there were no damages or casualties.
