This is how irregular immigrants tried to cross the Polish border

Authorities in Poland shared images of irregular migrants trying to enter the country from Belarus.

Poland had previously announced that it would deploy 10,000 troops to its border, due to the presence of Wagner’s forces in Belarus and increasing attempts by irregular migrants to enter the country from there.

In their statement, the Polish border guards claimed that the guards are constantly patrolling the border and that the area is closely monitored with thermal cameras.

Emphasizing that there were approximately 20,000 illegal attempts to cross from the Belarusian border into Poland in 2023 alone, border guards also claimed that irregular migrants sometimes attacked with groups of up to 40 people.

Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak announced on public radio last week that 10,000 troops would be deployed to strengthen border areas.
