Disaster in Libya: the death toll rose to 55

The Libyan First Aid and Support Center updated the number of dead and injured in the two-day conflict that began last Monday in Tripoli.

In the statement issued by the center, it was indicated that a total of 55 people lost their lives and 146 people were injured in the clashes. In the statement made yesterday by the same center, the number of deaths was estimated at 27 and the number of wounded at 106.

It has not yet been shared whether the victims were civilians or from forces in conflict.

Clashes broke out on Monday between the “Rada”, the Unit against Crime and Terrorism under the Chairmanship of the Libyan Presidential Council, and the “444 Brigade” under the Government of National Unity, in the Ayn Zara region and south of the capital.
