The reaction to Trump’s ‘provocative statements’
In his post on his own social media platform, TruthSocial, Donald Trump criticized Judge Chutkan, who is facing the lawsuit filed against him for allegedly trying to “reverse the results of the 2020 presidential election in his favor.”
Trump, in his post, included Chutkan’s remarks about people who participated in the January 6 congressional events, stating that he punished people who participated in the events “in anger.” Arguing that the judge was politically biased and unfair, Trump said: “(Chutkan) obviously wants me behind bars.” he used the phrase.
Criticizing Fulton District Attorney Fani Willis, who is expected to charge him with allegedly trying to interfere with the results of the 2020 election in the state of Georgia, Trump argued that he did not interfere with the results of the elections.
Trump shared the view that “those who cheated and stole the election” interfered with the election results and should be prosecuted. Trump questioned why these accusations were made now and not two and a half years ago, reiterating his emphasis as “interference in the 2024 presidential election.”
“FIGHT WITH THE TRUTH UNTIL THE END”
Donald Trump has also targeted former Georgia Republican Lieutenant Governor Jeff Duncan, who is called to testify tomorrow in Fulton District Court. Defending Duncan as a “failure” and arguing that he should not testify in court, Trump said:
“I know very little about her, but she has been a nasty disaster for voter fraud investigators in Georgia since the beginning of this witch hunt. He refused to hold a special session to find out what was going on, he had no support among Republicans (I refused to support him) and he fought the truth from start to finish.”
THE JUDGE GAVE A “LIMITED PROTECTION ORDER”
Judge Chutkan issued a “limited protective” order last week over what issues he can explain publicly in the lawsuit filed against Trump for “attempting to swing the results of the 2020 presidential election in his favor.”
The decision was made by Trump: “If you come for me, I will go for you!” He arrived at the request of prosecutors from the Ministry of Justice.
Chutkan had warned the parties to pay special attention to their statements on the case and not to use “provocative” expressions.
The lawyers comment that Trump “appears to be testing Judge Chutkan” with his posts.
The fourth indictment against Trump is expected to be announced later this week regarding the indictment of “attempting to interfere with the results of the 2020 election” in the state of Georgia. (AA)
