Man who threatened US President Biden is assassinated
A critical development took place in the US. Prior to Biden’s visit, the FBI announced that a person named Craig Deleeuw Robertson in Salt Lake City, Utah, died “in the conflict that erupted during the arrest process” in his home.
Court records noted that he threatened President Biden, New York District Attorney Alvin Bragg and New York Attorney General Letitia James, who are prosecuting former US President Donald Trump.
In the case brief filed with the US District Court in Utah, Robertson shared on Facebook: “The time is right for a presidential assassination or two. First Joe, then Kamala!!” statement was given.
The file noted that Robertson was between 70-75 years old and was carrying an AR-15-style semi-automatic rifle. Biden was said to have been briefed on the matter by the FBI. (AA)
