Zelensky’s assessment of the Russia-Ukraine war
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy reported that his country’s offensive against Russia was advancing “barely” and “slowly.”
Zelenskiy spoke about current affairs in an interview he gave to Latin American press organizations.
Noting that the Ukrainian army has launched a counterattack against Russian military forces before, Zelenskiy said: “The attack is difficult and probably progresses more slowly than someone would like.”
Stating that the weapons in his hands are insufficient and therefore it is “very difficult” to fight, Zelenskiy stressed that Russia must leave the territory of Ukraine.
“Ukraine does not plan to continue the war on Russian soil. We have never had such a goal. We will save our own lands from occupation,” she said.
“THE MOST CORRECT WAY OF THE DIPLOMATIC WAY”
Noting that they have developed a formula to establish peace in Ukraine, Zelenskiy said: “This formula is the most correct and only diplomatic way to establish peace in Ukraine.”
Zelenskiy said that this formula can be used in the process of solving problems in the world. (AA)
