Putin: We will return to the agreement immediately if all conditions are met
Russian President Putin assessed the Black Sea Grain Corridor Agreement during his meeting with government officials in the capital, Moscow.
Stating that Russia extended the agreement many times despite the “arrogant” approach of Western countries, Putin said: “We expected our foreign colleagues to fully comply with the agreed and approved conditions, but this did not happen.” he used the phrase.
Stating that Western countries are responsible for the termination of the deal, Putin said: “Russia is claimed to be responsible for the failure of this deal. Furthermore, Russia is blamed for the disasters in certain African countries that were once plundered by the West and pushed into the abyss of wars, famine and poverty. Now they continue to plunder these states within the framework of the neocolonial system.” he said.
Putin claimed that the grain deal had humanitarian significance at first, but that Western countries had completely destroyed this element.
Stating that Russia’s effort to send fertilizer to poor countries for free was blocked by Western countries, Putin said: “The deal has lost its meaning in its current form.” saying.
“WHICH IS PROVIDED WITH THE HUMAN ESSENCE OF THE AGREEMENT”
Noting that Russia has several conditions for the continuation of the agreement, Putin said: “All obstacles must be removed in front of Russian banks and financial institutions that provide food and fertilizer supply services. This includes connecting them to the SWIFT international banking payment system. We do not need words or opinions on this matter. We need these conditions to be met.” he said.
Emphasizing that obstacles to the shipment of Russian grain products to international markets and the shipment of agricultural tools and equipment to Russia must be removed, Putin said the issue of insurance for Russian ships must also be resolved.
Emphasizing that the “human element” in the agreement must also be restored, Putin said: “Ultimately, the main condition for Russia’s return to the agreement is the restoration of the agreement’s humanitarian essence. We will immediately return to this agreement if all these conditions that we previously agreed to are met.” saying. (AA)
