Iranian judiciary spokesman Massoud Stayishi said prosecutors have been appointed in the country to fight those who violate the mandatory headscarf.
According to the Tesnim news agency, Stayiş gave information on the issue at a press conference. “By order of the president of the Judiciary, all prosecutors in the country have the task of warning those who violate the veil rule,” Stayiş said.
Stating that no one in the country has the right to violate any laws on the headscarf, Stayiş said, “With this aspect, the Judiciary officially accepts that all administrators warn citizens on the issue of the headscarf.”
