Explosion on the Crimean bridge: there are dead and injured

It was reported that the Crimean bridge was closed to vehicle traffic due to the “emergency situation”.

The so-called governor of Crimea, which Russia illegally annexed, Sergey Aksenov, said in a written statement that there was an emergency situation at the bridge, the details of which were not disclosed.

Stating that the bridge was closed to vehicle traffic due to the emergency in question, Aksenov said: “Security and related units are working on it.”

Vyacheslav Gladkov, the governor of the Belgorod region in southern Russia, also announced that an explosion occurred, killing two people and wounding a child. It was also reported that the deceased were the parents of the girl’s son.

Gladkov said: “It is seen that some vehicles were damaged in the shared images. Now we see an injured girl. “The most difficult thing is that her parents died in the attack,” she said.

In some images on Russian social networks, smoke is seen coming out of the bridge.

In some media reports, it is claimed that the Ukrainian military carried out a missile attack on the bridge at night.
