USA: Ukraine’s future is in NATO

US National Security Adviser Sullivan was a guest on the TV show “This Week” on ABC News.

Underlining that the United States will continue to support Ukraine against Russia, Sullivan said he believes the American people will continue to support this.

Regarding Ukraine’s NATO membership, Jake Sullivan said: “Ukraine’s future is in NATO. Spot. No negotiation is required for this. At some point that will happen.” saying.

Noting that membership is currently not possible, Sullivan said: “First of all, as the war continues, Ukraine’s entry into NATO means NATO’s entry into the war with Russia. This means that the United States is going to war with Russia. Neither NATO nor the United States are prepared to do that.” he said.

On the other hand, Sullivan pointed out that every NATO candidate country should carry out some democratic reforms, saying that Ukraine has made significant progress, but needs to do more reforms. (AA)
