Shocking Statement: Wagner Trains Soldiers

Belarus: Wagner started training our soldiers

A statement came in about the Wagner mercenary group, which started a short-lived rebellion against Russian President Vladimir Putin but then withdrew and settled in Belarus with the intervention of Belarusian leader Lukashenko.

Yevgeni Prigojin, who was one of Putin’s most trusted names for a time, reacted strongly, explaining that Putin and his staff did not provide enough support during the Russia-Ukraine war and decided to abandon the war.

Today, the Belarusian Ministry of Defense made a statement on the subject. “The Wagner group continues to train Belarusian soldiers in Belarus,” the statement said. It was stated that the training continues in the city of Osipovichi, which is located about 90 kilometers south of the capital Minsk.

“Wagner fighters are serving as instructors for some military units,” the ministry statement said.

On June 23 and 24, Wagner’s troops took control of Rostov in southern Russia and headed towards Moscow. Wagnerian leader Prigojin, who shot down military helicopters and killed its pilots, later withdrew with the intervention of Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko.

Lukashenko, who mediated between Putin and Prigojin, obtained a pardon for Private Wagner and prevented Prigojin from being tried.
