HAVE BEEN DELIVERED TO SERBIA
Immediately after the occupation of Srebrenica by Serb troops under the command of Ratko Mladic on July 11, 1995, the Bosnian civilians who took refuge with the Dutch soldiers under the UN were handed over to the Serbs.
By allowing women and children to go into the area controlled by Bosnian soldiers, the Serbs killed at least 8,372 Bosnian men in forests, factories and warehouses, and those who died were buried in mass graves.
The victims, whose bodies were found in mass graves during efforts to find the missing after the war, are buried with a ceremony held at the Potocari Memorial Cemetery on July 11 each year after identification. (AA)
