Russia wants the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant on NATO’s agenda at the summit
Russia believes the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant in Ukraine should be high on the agenda at the next NATO summit in Lithuania. A spokeswoman for Russia’s foreign ministry told Telegram that most members of the Western alliance will be affected if anything happens to the nuclear power plant.
The nuclear power plant in the Russian-occupied territory is the largest in Europe. The complex is located about 1,000 kilometers from Vilnius, where NATO will hold a summit on 11 and 12 July. Russia and Ukraine have accused each other of planning an attack on the nuclear power plant. This has caused international concern.
