White House cocaine panic

The substance, which was found in the White House and suspected to be cocaine, was sent by the US Secret Service to the laboratory for detailed investigation.

According to The Washington Post, while the suspected substance found at the White House on July 2 was found to be cocaine in early tests, no official statement has yet been made on the matter. In the audio recording recorded at 8:49 p.m. on the openmhz.com website, where live and archived radio broadcasts from police and fire departments can be heard, a firefighter announced that the result of the first test was cocaine.

The other official, who did not want to be named and was involved in the investigation, confirmed that the meeting was from the White House and said the substance was a small amount.

Washington DC Fire Department spokesman Vito Maggiolo stated that “the agency is providing support to the United States Secret Service in the investigation.” Maggiolo did not give more details about it.

SECURITY ALARM IS GIVEN

Law enforcement officials announced that the United States Secret Service is continuing to investigate to determine what substance was found. Secret Service communications chief Anthony Guglielmi said the substance was tested to determine what it was and they were investigating how it got to the White House.

Stating that the incident prompted a high-security alert and short-term evacuation at the White House, Guglielmi claimed that the Washington DC fire department determined the substance did not pose a threat.

Noting that the substance was found during routine checks in the building, Guglielmi did not answer questions about exactly where the substance was found and how it was packaged.

It was learned that President Joe Biden was not in the White House at the time of the incident and evacuation. (AA)
