According to the official Iranian agency IRNA, the General Manager of Meteorology of Sistan-Baluchistan, Muhsin Haydari, made a statement about the hot weather in the region. Haydari stated that the cities of Zehek and Hirmend reached 50 degrees of air temperature, making them the hottest regions in the country.
Stating that the temperature was measured at 42 degrees in the city of Zahidan, the administrative center of the province, Haydari noted that the air temperature will drop as the wind picks up from Monday.
