New Move For Titanic Tour Disaster: Remote Control Vehicles Shipped

The US Coast Guard, which led the search for the Titan vehicle, stated that the Canadian Coast Guard ship Horizon Arctic sent an ROV and the unmanned vehicle reached the ocean floor and began its search efforts.

US Coast Guard officials noted that France’s LAtalante, who participated in the studies, launched another ROV. On the other hand, it was reported that the ROV belonging to the institution called Magellan will also participate in the search work, which with its ROV made the digital map of the remains of the Titanic.

“We are 100 percent focused on supporting the salvage mission to recover the underwater vehicle, utilizing our site-specific knowledge and depth-specific expertise long before this incident is necessary,” Magellan said in a statement today.
