Biden’s son’s trial date announced
Hunter Biden, the son of US President Joe Biden, will appear in court on July 26 for his agreement with the Department of Justice on prosecutorial charges and charges against him for possession of a weapon while using drugs.
According to a court document, Hunter Biden’s first court date regarding his agreement with the Justice Department on the charges against him is set for 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 26.
Hunter Biden, who will appear in federal court in Wilmington, Delaware, has reached an agreement with the Justice Department on three federal charges against him, including two tax charges and one for illegal possession of a weapon.
His lawyer, Christopher Clark, stated that he would take responsibility for Hunter Biden’s failure to file tax payments, and that a different process of rehabilitation would take place regarding the charge of illegal possession of weapons.
Republicans, especially former US President Donald Trump, reacted to the deal, arguing that the deal “exposed a double-standard justice system.” (AA)
